At best I'd suggest it's a way for him to branch out of being 'the quirky sports guy', at worst, he really really wanted to get out of The Score'
Definitely not what I was expecting.

I figured I would check it out and apparently Cabral has had two segments so far. The show itself is brutal (for a sports guys) but Cabbie is still pretty much the same. Interviews NHL players on breakups/songs and then beauty.

It lets him continue his interview schtick though.

I will miss him on Score Tonight, and Court Surfing.

Wow that's the show he's on now? That's like the complete polar opposite of his target demographic on The Score, that sounded like he was being interviewed by my mom. Good on him if it helps him further his career, make more $$$ and get him some good perks (like a trip to England it sounds like), but that's depressing that that's the show he's on. After watching that first one I don't even really wanna watch the 2nd one, that was rough outside of the clip segment.

Was on the TSN webpage and saw the first edition of "Cabbie Presents". First interview is with Jose Bautista -- the ending is hilarious

(if video doesn't start playing, it's in the second row)
