I agree it looks over done in the still pictures, but in movement in the game it looks really good.

That screenshot probably was taken from a Beta of the game, not the finished product. It probably won't look like that.

From what I saw/played i'd give it an 8/10. ESPN looks to be a 9/10 but I haven't played that yet.

I've always bought EA each year since '94... but the features in the ESPN franchise mode (plus the party mode, and the Live support) just sound too incredible to pass up. And let's not forget about the $30 price tag either!

I've never tried any of the ESPN games before because it always seemed to me like EA was the Canadian game, and ESPN was the American one. I'm going to support the Canadian one whenever I get a chance. But this year I'm giving in. Forgive me EA!

The game should be out on the 14th...here's a quote from an email I got from a contact at EA.

As far as I can tell, 9/14 is THE date. The site is still showing the
21st to be safe, but that's likely to change to the real date in the
next couple days.

I'm recieving the game before it hits the shelves so i'll have a bunch of info for people here that are interested when I get it, and more in depth impressions because I honestly didn't get to play the game too much in Vancouver.

Actually ESPN is out September 1st in Canada... possible a day or two early. I'm definetely buying that the day it's out too.

Hey SP----Do the fans react normally this year? Last year's, they were the crowd on speed and crack and jumped up at the wrong moments. Has this been addressed? Are they a "normal" crowd now?
