Why are so many people worried about Ottawa dipping in. Ottawa is the capital of our nation, CANADA. They're not an enemy waiting to steel what we earned by inhabiting land that happened to be blessed with oil reserves. I guess I'm one of the few people who thinks of themself as Canadian first, and Albertan second. If we're loaded with surplus and other sectors of the nation need help, we should help. If the situation was reversed and someone like PEI had all the oil, we would want the same.
