Beef. No question. Rib eye is my favorite cut followed closely by the tenderloin (filet mignon).

This has already been solved, March Madness style... though I would have went the other way in the final...

Yep, been craving it for months but can't ever get out there on a weekday and can't get a reservation on the weekend. I refuse to settle for Sparks or Del Friscos.

Nice, I knew it looked familiar. Although I still believe that the best thing on that menu is not the steak, but the thick-cut strip of bacon. That things is pure awesome.

While I like the steak a Peter Luger's, the best steak of my life has still been at Vintage Chophouse in Calgary.

Have you ever been to Smith and Wollensky? I've always been curious, but never been.

Best steak I ever had was at the Stock Yard Restaurant in Nashville. It's in a pretty dodgy part of town, but a beautiful building and the food is out of this world.

Steak is one of the best foods of all time.

You know what occasion steak is guaranteed to be a disappointment though? Weddings. They're always overcooked and bland, no matter how expensive the caterer. I've never had a good steak at a wedding. An yet I still keep going for it when given the choice, hoping to find the magic.

Agreed on the bacon, there really aren't words to do it justice.

I've never been to Vintage, I'll have to try it next time I'm back in Calgary. I honestly never found a steak house I really liked in Calgary. The meat was always great, but that extra something always seemed to be lacking.

I did Smith and Wollensky a couple of years ago on a business lunch. It was solid, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to going back, but not quite at the same level as Luger's.

I am surprised more people haven't mentioned T Bone steak, my favorite.

The King of steaks, bone on Strip Loin with a Filet on the side, perfection.

Had a perfectly prepared 8 oz. Elk Tenderloin wrapped in bacon at the Maple Leaf Grille in Banff on Sunday night. Damn, that was good.

Human . . . preferable a vegan.

I have to ask though, would human be considered dark meat or white meat? And what wine goes best with it.

Delicious, I'll take a glass of that, to wash down my hotdogs. Would probably need a straw though, although it might be too thick.

+1 on goat. Honestly, I've yet to find a type of meat I didn't enjoy.
