I could also do that, working oilpatch I learned many Macgyver type tricks (I used a metal fork and I would bend it to rig the channels).

Does anyone remember one of the shopping channels used to sometimes be a still image that refreshed every 30 seconds? I was really young at the time, so I don't remember fully. I remember a bald lady for some reason. Maybe I'm out to lunch...

We used to use a filter made up of about 12 feet of antenna wire and tinfoil strategically wrapped around it every 6 inches or so, if it got fuzzy your would slide the tinfoil back and forth till it cleared up. Superchannel was quite lame by today's standards, and we just had to figure it out.

I remember watching the Flames comeback against the Leafs in that 6-5 OT win years ago. It was on TSN, back when they were a premium channel.

Btw, gotta love how some guy references "a long time ago" and then says the late 90's, early 2000's. Wasn't that like yesterday?
No that was 10 years ago, not like yesterday.

Man, I remember building one of those, it was so picky about the tin foil wrappings.
