Wish I could have gotten in on this but I was away on Vacation when it went down, oh well next time.
Last night was great, the watermellon to the face was amazing and the way she just kept going "I can't feel my face." But good on Claire to keep going and finishing, a lot of people would have just said that is enough, I can just imagine how bad that hurt.
Also the "are you a battlement?" Then they move the flag to look for a flag.......
What country are you in? London? Yes you are in the country of London. I was waiting for the facepalm from Phil.
The express pass, that is huge and can take someone from losing a leg to surviving easily. Huge advantage to Jill and Thomas with that.
There are no teams that stand out to me right now, but there are a few that seem like they can make some noise and some that it is just a matter of time before they are sent packing.

There was some hotties on this season. Last season there was 1, this season there like 4-6 hotties.
Finally I can cheer for more than 1 team to stay in it.

Pretty pedestrian episode last night. I don't see Gary and Mallory sticking around for much longer.

Both my teams stink.
I have to say, I've been impressed by the home shopping girls so far. With the way the different teams are doing, this could finally be the time that an all-female team wins the race.

I agree...but they also doubled the amount of all girl teams this year as well....even the two Doctors, Nat and Kat, seem quite smart and able to handle adversity.
Overall last nights show was boring...not too many stupid comments or issues getting in the way, outside of Andy and Jenna hoping God would get them to the finish before they were eliminated. Guess God didn't want them to win.

Maybe they should create a new tradition where the losing team each week gets blasted in the face by a watermelon.

Michael and Kevin get lucky and hang on in a non elimination round.
Cant believe how many of the teams couldnt find the decipher for the code.
Connor and Jonathon dweebed their way to first and did it very well.
Nat and Kat had horrendous luck with cab drivers, I woulda popped a cork at the one driver for not turning around.

Poor me, my PVR decided to fail this week and didn't record the Amazing Race.
What destination did the teams finish in this week?

They spent the whole episode still in Ghana.
They ended up at a school and Phil told them that they were going to spend the next day helping out doing some improvements at the school. I assume that activity won't be part of the race, just them giving back, which will likely be shown briefly at the beginning of next week.
The father and son team came in last this week, but it was a non-elimination leg.
The preview for next week shows them going to an Arctic climate. Considering this race was shot during May-June, it will have to be very far north because there is snow visible.

Hmm, possibly a northern Scandinavia location? Sweden or Finland or something. Glad to hear Kevin and Michael are still around - they are easy to cheer for.

Anyone think that the non elimination thing is a spur of the moment thing. I'm betting if the tattoo'd moronic wonder twins came in last, they'd be riding a pet carrier home in the belly of a vintage biplane.

It often seems that way, but I really don't think so.
Keep in mind that they'll have to do the Speed Bump on the next leg, so they couldn't just randomly add another task like that out of nowhere without already having everything in place for it.

Michael and Kevin get a ridiculously easy Speed Bump and move from last up to 5th....(Seriously...sit on an ice cube for 5 minutes?)
Jill and Thomas use their pass when they likely didnt have to...but Im sure most would have done the same in the same situation.
Nat and Kat remove the taxi jinx in Africa and move into first on this leg.
Meanwhile Connor and Jonathon go from first to worst and get the boot.
chummer is toast and Komskies takes a hit.

Good Lord, Nick and Vicki are stupid. How can you go on this show and have no idea about the basic rules of the game?

I must say this has been a pretty bland season so far. No one to really hate outside of Nick and Vicky who appear to be as dumb as bricks.
The Doctors, Nat and Kat, are playing a smart race and look to be favorites so far...the TV hosts, Brook and Claire are just funny. The rest are pretty blase!
Katie and Rachel get the boot and with that take Jesse834 out of the game and shoot Rejean31 in the left leg.

Even though I have them picked, I won't be surprised at all if Nick and Vicki are out next week. Just plain stupid.
