I find people who don't follow the news to be oblivious and somewhat stupid. If you can't be bothered to learn about things outside your little bubble of life, then what the hell are you spending your life doing? Especially people who spend oodles of time on the internet. How hard is it to browse the herald website for 5 minutes a day?

Which is exactly why I hope he doesn't get it.

He's big government, and the US needs someone who has the balls to cut big government and start reforming their social programs.

IIRC social programs are considered the third rail of American Democracy. All presidents know if you touch them you die.

Pwning n00bs, mostly. I can also be:

Checking out the latest movies,
Mellowing out to awesome music on my balcony overlooking Haysboro and Kingsland,
Interacting with the cat,
Cleaning,
Watching my favourite TV shows,
Working,
Sleeping,
Eating.

During hockey Season, I can also be keeping up to date on everything Flames worthy.

Simply put, I care very little for what goes on beyond my area of influence.

Let me get this straight... somebody who aspires to the highest public office in the USA endorses gratuitous use of the "n" word?

Well, he is also big business. It's going to have to be someone fairly centrist that brings the knife (a la Britain) - I don't see the Right being able to do it, and the Left wanting to do it.

That is true as well.

Britain and Germany are good current examples.
