Get him a Roomba. Hours of entertainment not spent cleaning. Also, dogs love them.

Well done DuffMan, well done.

So far on my list I have:

Coffee Maker
Grill Set (he is always BBQing up a storm)
Case of ice cold delicious Sner
Back up case of ice cold delicious Sner
Wine/Beer glasses
Nice bottle of wine

I'd like to get him something for his water skis but he already has it all.. new lifejacket/gloves, ski itself is to expensive and they have all the stuff for the course..
I love that 3 of the 6 finalists are "Case of ice cold delicious Sner", "Back up case of ice cold delicious Sner" and a "Nice bottle of wine". This is funny given that you stated the only requirements were "something that isn't food booze or money".

And what I find funny about this reply is how you managed to break the rules of this thread even more than my post.

Now get back to researching ideas for my thoughtful gift.

NAO!!!

Those margaritaville blenders are really popular. Unfortunately I think its $200 or more at Costco.

If its a summer cabin replace the sissy bottle of baileys with a good bottle of Irish whiskey.

I fail to see the rule that I broke, even still I will leave a suggestion.

My father-in-law just got a really cool Kabob pan and stand for his BBQ. We used it last weekend and it works pretty slick. If your buddy uses his BBQ a lot this might be a good idea that won't break your budget.
