No one speaks ASL? Hmm...
I like this thread. Truthfully, if I ever found a Djinni in a lamp, my first wish would be to speak, read, write, and understand all the languages in the world with perfect fluency. It's been that way since I started learning German. The most useful wish I ever thought of, to be honest.
Anyways, English and German.
My girlfriend speaks English, and is learning ASL.

I can speak and read English and French. I can read Chinese at like a grade 4 level...but I can speak Cantonese fluently and Mandarin decently. I took courses in Spanish and Japanese, but don't know much beyond basic sentences.
Oh and I also speak Klingon. K'pla!

On its own the program is good, but coupled with some reading to help you better understand the gramatical rules behind the language the program is excellent.
I found myself getting confused at some points so I grabbed French For Dummies. It has really helped clear up a lot of the questions I had. I also work with a guy from France so I get to practice with him. But a lot of the words and phrases he would use are not the same I would find a French Canadian speaking, so I had to learn that as well. Mainly the formal and informal side of it.
I also grabbed a standard French/English dictionary to help me better understand some of the words the program was throwing at me. I was able to just quickly flip to the word and then proceed with the program without any long pauses.
Basically if you use the program as a stand alone tool you will most likely not enjoy it or get the full benefits. If you do some research on your own, including watching French TV, listening to French music, reading French kids books to start etc.. you will find the program works great as the core of your learning experience.
Edit: sorry replace French with Spanish and German obviously, I was just speaking from my own experience.

read / write / speak English, Turkish and French
The French is weakest of all three as I learned it in immersion (grades 7-12) and only fleetingly use it now for conversation. I did recently start purchasing books of French writers in the native French to try and keep on top of things. Without speaking regularly, it's the only realistic way of retaining what I learned.

English and whatever I haven't forgotten of my 3 years of high school French.
Kind of sad really considering the fact that my father was raised in a German speaking household (apparently my grandfather spoke Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, and a couple of other slavic lanquages, as well as German) and my mother's dad was an immigrant from Sweden who spoke Swedish and Finnish fluently.

I guess I would say 2 and a half.
English and Cantonese fluently, I can converse relatively well in Mandarin.
Reading and writing... completely different story.

I am what you call a banana. Yellow on the outside, white on the inside. I can understand some Cantonese, was able to write and and read cantonese, but I can speak some basic words. I prefer to speak English as my main language.
