New scam in Calgary!

i used to run a warehouse that stored all the stereo's and speakers for these guys ... i asked our executive if it was even legal and why would we be assisting these shisters and the answer was our lawyers agreed that what they were doing wasnt illegal and our role was not supporting illegal activity.

i can tell you they did a lot of business though, we moved about 4 x 40' containers a month through our warehouse for these guys. they all came and picked them up from our facility on a daily basis. one dude was driving a brand new caddy escalade!

The worst people tried to sell me was perfume and cologne in a grocery store parking lot some years ago. Brands I'd heard of, but for really cheap... but uh, I'd rather buy them in a store and know they're not counterfeit, thanks.

Not only that but there's been warnings issued by authorities that this stuff will knock you out and then the thieves make off with who knows what.

Yes, good point, I'd read about that in the paper a couple times after the fact too. I was afraid to sniff the stuff at the time - good thing.
