Some people don't drive garbage. Also golf ball sized hail damage can write your car off. I'm glad our new car is tucked away safely in the underground.

Here at the Currie Barracks it wasn't as bad. Marble-sized at best, but they sure were bouncing up off of the grass. It looks kind of dark out of my window again (facing SW), so there could be some more shenanigans on the way.

Just went out in the parking lot at the corner of 4th Avenue and 8th Street. Every car is damaged. Mine's further up the street and the wife still hasn't told me the damage. Based on what I just saw though, it will be extensive hail damage.
Just checked my car up here in Varsity. I lucked out from what I hear. I found only about 4-5 pock marks on my hood. Disappointing but my friend just called me saying that his hood has over 30+.
Time to dig out my pro/con list of using public transit.
it can go either way though, for me alternate transportation saved my car as its in a parkade at home right now. yet some people would park in a parkade if they drove and by taking transit you leave your car on the street!
basically a only win by parkade/parkade solution.

I park outside close to downtown (Renfrew area), but to tell you the truth, I'm not too worried about my 1993 honda civic hatchback getting hail damage.
