The last decade as a whole has not been kind to Edmonton fans of any sport. How long will sports fans in that city be able to cling to their success in the 80's?

I'm trying to understand how they can call no-yards when the kick is blocked. It touched an Eskimo's hand so why would a no-yards call make any sense? Just another of those goofy CFL rules.

25 penalties between the 2 teams tonight, just ugly football.

I love it. Second and 20 something and they throw a wideout screen! Boo birds in Edmonton!

It's always good for Ray's completion percentage.

As long as "the sign" lasts? Is that thing still there? Haven't been to Edmonton in, can't remember the last time.

Ray completely chocked this game away. Excellent.

Not sure why Edmonton stopped throwing deep. Montreal would take 2 pass interference penalties per drive.

Also i know it's not Labour Day yet but Stamps killed the esks tonite! hahahahahaha i love it.

Huff calls out Labinjo.

Quote:
“Well, I’ll tell you what night and day is,” replied Hufnagel. “The way he plays Wednesday versus how he played against Hamilton. If he plays another game like he did in Hamilton, there will be no Mike Labinjo. I didn’t appreciate the way he played there.”

They fooled a lot of people with that first game. Same problems they've had for years still exist though. Questionable O line, lack of canadian talent and poor secondary. They've fixed the quarterback position, but they are still not good enough. Oh and their front seven is no longer what it used to be. Looking a little old and slow there.

Man, the Riders played like garbage and they still beat the Eskimoes. What a horrible team.
