This is the reason teachers would stomp on a calculator if you got caught with one the 70's...they saw the future.

Why they let them and actually want students to have them these days is beyond me.

Meh, she was in training, she was probably just rattled with the amount of customer flow coming through there, being a newbie & all. I worked at a liquor store pretty much all through college and its amazing how easy you can screw up simple change amounts like that when you're tired/rattled/busy. I'd especially find it funny when it'd happen because in between customers I'd sometimes be working on calculus homework, which I aced. It happens...either that or she's just a dummy.
