So I just got back from LA yesterday and I was actually asked to be an extra on the show. I was staying at the Rooselvelt on Hollywood Blvd and they were shooting there all day yesterday. I think it has something to do with Eminem's new album because they had his posters plastered all over the hotel lobby. It was pretty neat seeing those guys walking around.

What was wrong with last season's Curb? I thought it was solid. Was too bad that most of the great secondary characters(Jeff, Leon) got pushed to the side a lot because of the Seinfeld angle, but I thought it was worth it considering we got to see the Seinfeld cast back together on-set & that whole angle. Next season(so pumped there is one, wasn't sure for awhile there) will be more back to "normal". Best comedy on TV.

Average episode last night, average season so far. We need a good Ari rant to get it going. I did like the semi-conflict between Eric and the Scott Caan character. But, the show just isn't that funny anymore and I've been a huge Entourage supporter. It's getting hard to defend these days.

I'm loving the Eric and Drama storyline, Johhny has a legit passion for the craft and right now has the most believable storyline.

I'm on the fence with this season so far but Turtle's character again is awful. Randomly hit up Mexico for a job opportunity really?

He's still interested in the chick, I'm sure that's swaying his decision a little bit.

I actually like all the storylines. I have no issue with what they're doing. The guys are growing up, they're moving on from getting high and getting laid. Those stories get old, real fast. But people get upset when they see something new and different, but if they were doing the same, there would be people bitching about that. The creators of Entourage are in a lose lose situation because people loved those opening 3 seasons so damn much.

Like I said above, my main issue is that there's not as much humor as they're used to be. We don't really have the guys making fun of each other as much, Ari is not going insane as much. I just want more funny. That's all.

I don't mind it, could use more comedy but them not growing up would be unrealistic, so don't mind spending half hour on it.

It's not fair or is it as simple as people not liking the show simply because the 4 guys are growing up (besides last episode still had Turtle getting high, Vince trying to get laid and Drama too) It's not as black and white as you paint it to be for the creators. I have no problem with the show maturing and the guys reaching another level. It's just in my mind they've done an awful job at getting from point A to point B. Season 4 and5 had some of the lightest tones and seems more like a comedy then they suddenly change the tone to a very serious season 6. The story lines have no structure and it all feels rushed. Not to mention, the casting has been god awful

That being said I'm fine with the show because I've realized you simply can't put Entourage on a level compared to other quality shows on tv. It is what is , Doug Ellen Directing and writing pretty much every second episode, for the most part interesting guest stars, and good looking girls. And I love that Drama is getting a storyline with actual teeth, for the first time ever. He's become the most likeable character in my eyes and I'm genuinely interested in him.

I still find myself laughing during the show for the most part but the most interesting part for me is seeing who they got to cameo.

I do think Vince's storyline right now is kind of lame. He doesn't pull off "badass" IMO.

I almost think the Vince thing is more to up the tension between Scott Caan and Eric. Much like the NFL story line is a device for Ari drama.

I think the biggest problem is the show is rushed. If the episodes were 10 minutes longer you could really add a lot more depth to the show. The short episodes are great if you aren't trying to be deep and follow individual plot lines.

When it was Ari story and the Vince and the buddies Story 30 minutes worked well but this year they have an eric story, a Vince Story, an Ari story, A Drama story. Each story is not getting enough screen time combine that with short seasons and the show needs to try to do less.

Vince sucks so far, he looks like a dick, and this thrill seeking will catch up to him later in the season. E and Ari- as always they are my fave characters, and Sloan looks even more beautiful.

I am the biggest defender of the show...have every season on DVD ...but this year I just can't get into it. I've tried, I really have, but I find myself playing with my computer or tuning out when Ari or Drama are not on.

Thought tonight's episode was fairly good. Dania Ramirez is hotter than ever, never thought she was that hot, but tonight's episode changed me, she is foine. =D

The Drama-Stamos parts were awesome. I knew Drama would throw the 2nd game.

I have to disagree.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Drama-Stamos storyline(similar to the Liddell-Drama storyline in the 3rd season)

Ari Gold's speech in front of the investor board was very well done

Dania Ramirez is smokin hot, Turtle is a disaster as always

And I enjoyed how E and Scott got along, just to see E sit out a Vegas trip as Scott attends..should be an exciting storyline to play out in the following episodes.

IMO that was the best episode of the season.

Agreed. I thought it was a great episode.

Yeah, it was a good episode for me. Whole show felt like 10 minutes. I don't like Tom Sizemore, but it was funny having him at the rehab place.

Might just be me then, I have enjoyed this season so far but I just couldn't stand tonight.

Stamos was awful IMO, and such a fall from the amazing Saget cameos the show has had. It was over done and tried way to hard to be funny with the ping pong bit. Turtle scenes as have been since I can remember are all awful, no matter how hot the girl he's in frame with is.

It does feel like there planting seeds for the movie though, a ton of major story lines are building. At the very least I can be excited that there's going to be some payoff and a climax to a lot of these that will beat one of the biggest storylines of an entire season ending in "well sorority girls stole our underwear"

Has Entourage become one of those things that is 'cool' to hate on now?
