Curious, are you Dutch or something? The court of public opinion works on circumstantial evidence and in that respect this dirtball is guilt as eff. I don't believe in coincidences and when the same dbag gets pulled in for ANOTHER murder, yeah, he deserves what he gets. I'll be shocked if he lasts 3 days in the prison they're sending him to.

You are innocent of any crime until proven guilty by a judge or jury of your peers. Legally speaking, he is currently innocent of any crime in regards to Natalee Holloway and yes, that means that OJ didn't do it, at least in the eyes of the law.
Chris? Is that you?

We would constitute a jury of his peers. The only difference between us and the judge or jury that will actually try him in Peru is that we don't have the ability to pass sentence on him.

Pity that.

Even at a young age this guy invented the word guilty.

Joran van der Sloot, who authorities say has confessed to the murder of a Peruvian woman,
The Dutch citizen, who was twice arrested in connection with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway but released for lack of evidence, said he would reveal the location of the body and the circumstances surrounding her death for $25,000 in cash. He asked for $250,000 in total, the document states.
Van der Sloot and Beth Holloway's representative met in Aruba, where a payment of $10,000 was made to him, followed by a transfer of $15,000 to a personal bank account in the Netherlands, the document states.
Fricken snake and nothing more!

Joran van der Sloot told investigators during an interrogation that he knows the location of Natalee Holloway's body, but he would neither identify the location nor say what happened to her the night of her disappearance, a Peruvian police official told CNN.

"In the interrogation done to the Dutch citizen, he says he knew the location of the corpse of the American citizen, but that he was going to explain everything to Aruban police," said Miguel Canlla, head of the homicide division of the Peruvian national police investigative unit, on Thursday.

Van der Sloot told authorities that he attacked Flores on May 30 after she read an e-mail on his computer connected with the Holloway case, Peruvian national police said in a statement released Thursday.

And . . . There we go.

So for you folks who doubted his guilt, I appreciate your noble prgamatism in "innocent before being found guilty," but all signs pointed his way.

Sounds like he is admitting defeat in a desperate attempt to get out of Peruvian jail.

Sometimes there is a fate worse then death. Spending the rest of your life in one of those South American Prisons is a just punishment for a truly sick f$$$.

I wonder if the interogation tactics involved torture or some variation. He just doesn't seem like the type with a conscience.

The 22-year-old Dutchman is quoted in an interview published Tuesday as boasting that he has received several marriage offers from women while in his jail cell in Lima, Peru, where he is awaiting trial for allegedly killing 21-year-old Peruvian Stephany Flores.

"One of them even wants me to get her pregnant," De Telegraaf newspaper quoted Van der Sloot as saying.
