It was more the fact that he sang LADY GAGA, not that he's artsy. John Lennon was very artsy and no one accuses him of...oh wait, never mind.

I agree over-all, but haha c'mon, its more about the song he chose, not his skills. Ya he's clearly talented, but when you have a junior high kid covering a song by a music diva who likes to show off her body, you gotta expect some snickering comments. If I could sing well and went to a karaoke bar and did a perfect, talented rendition of "Dirrty" I'm sure people would be laughing too. Good for him getting his name out there though. I'm curious how many people have been discovered like this from Youtube.

The one is a lot better since its original instead of copying something he's not. Kid's going to go far. All I find funny is the same people that scream at Gaga for being terrible call this kid amazing for doing a bad Gaga impression.
Might be because this new kid was nervous, but he's not coming close to Bieber based on his Ellen performance today, keeping in mind that singing talent doesn't really matter to his fanbase i.e. preteen girls.
