The report on Stark in end makes me think they're leaving themselves leeway. In case by the time The Avengers comes around RDJ doesn't want to do it. Any confirmation on how many movies he's signed for?

He is signed on for the Avengers. The only people not 100% confirmed to reprise his/her role in the Avengers is Edward Norton as Bruce Banner and Scarlet as Black Widow.

Bust size aside, I'd be okay if they recast Scarlet. I remember hearing about Norton being unlikely. However if Hulk was the villain, he'd be digital for most of it anyways, no?

During Stark Expo I keep waiting for K and J to show up to squash some Bugs.

Again, the Norton thing is a huge mis-conception. Marvel canceled/postponed the Hulk sequel because they weren't going to have time between Thor/Captain America/Ant Man and the Avengers film. Norton was asked and said that he didn't know if he would be playing the role in that sequel because they weren't sure if, at all, it was going to happen.

He is on record for being quite open to playing the Hulk in the Avengers but the question right now is, as you said, would Hulk ever be seen as Bruce Banner.

To be honest, I think the movie will likely have two Villains. Hulk will be one and Loki will be the other.

i just got back from it and was highly entertained. the one gripe i had about it was Whiplash wasn't utilized enough, Mickey Rourke was so good that they should have done more with his character (is he part Russian? his accent was perfect). but the humor was better in this one and Warmachine was just too damn cool, so overall i'd rate it on par with the first

can't wait for the Avengers now

I havent seen this yet and while I liked the first one, I thought the main villain character was lacking. I love a good villain. How's the bad guy factor in this one? I don't know anything about the Iron Man franchise.
