Okay, okay, maybe I was being a little harsh. Maybe it's not such a dumb question. Would it help my case if I told you that this same friend likes Canada more than the States and considers himself kind of 'Canadian', but has never actually been out of the USA?
Oh, and it was also right after he said to pass on "Happy Mothers' Day" to my own mom, from him.
