Just a heads up, there will also be an ISS pass on very near the same path beginning at 5:17 am. It will start out low in the west, climb to 78 degrees above the northern horizon by 5:20 and then disappear in the east at 5:23.
Where abouts in the sky will you have to look to see this ... more straight up, or to the south or what?
I'm just curious because I might try to see this, but my vantage point would be on Memorial Drive in Sunnyside and I'm wondering if my view will be impeded by downtown.
I'm thinking (in town) Nose Hill will be an excellent spot and maybe Scotchman's Hill. I think I'm gonna find a spot outside of town though just for the darker effect...not sure where though.

It will travel west-to-east slightly south, it should be high enough that the downtown won't get in the way.
I'm up working on a final project...saw this thread...it's only 2 1/2 hours from now. I'm just gonna stay up and give'er. I'll pull out my D90 and see if I can't get any good photos/video and post 'em here.
Just listening to real time audio between mission control and the shuttle. Right now entry looks promising, although they are watching possibility of fog......
