Which Broken Bells songs do you like?

I saw someone describe silversun pickups as shoegaze... I've heard of that genre but never really knew what bands made it up. Anyone else like this stuff and can make some recommendations?
I wouldn't call them shoegaze. Not even close. I think they're more straightforward rock. Mind you, I haven't listened in depth.

Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was really made popular by My Bloody Valentine in the 80s and 90s. And listening to them, they really are all shoegaze. Most bands these days just incorporate elements of it into their music, along with all the other genres they draw from. Rock music is such an amalgamation these days.

M83 and Deerhunter are two I would definitely check out. A couple of Deerhunter off-shoots, Atlas Sound and Lotus Plaza, seem to lean more toward shoegaze than Deerhunter itself, who just throws it in from time to time.

One of the greatest albums of all time, ever, of all time.

If you haven't listened to this before, do yourself a favor.

I've listened to it in it's entirety several times this week.

Edit: because the picture didn't load.

I honestly never gave Kanye a chance... I always just wrote him off as a bag. But I actually started listening to his music.. and if I can ignore who he is outside of the studio completely, I actually really enjoy it.

Especially his collaborations, he does a great job of setting up other artists. Guilty pleasure
