Not really an ingredient, but the worst is when you start grilling and find out there's no MF propane.

Pretty sure Wood is right. What people do in their backyard is grilling, not BBQing.

My way of doing KD is to boil the noodles for exactly 5 and a half minutes in salted water and while that is cooking put the butter in a small cup in the microwave for 30 seconds add 4 grinds of fresh pepper and milk and nuke for another 30 seconds, strain the noodles mix the milk mixture with the powder then add the strained noodles and heat for 20 seconds. The Key is to eat it immediately after mixing if not it becomes this congealed mass that I seriously loathe.

Oh btw if you have no milk a equal amount of sour cream works.

I think people are pretty much 50/50 on that. I just happen to think it's bbq'ing.

It must be a local saying since I say BBQing all the time when I'm actually grilling. American buddies of mine take great offense when I accidentally call it BBQing its like I'm burning a American flag or somthing.

Grilling refers to a fast process over high heat, while barbecuing refers to a slow process using indirect heat and/or hot smoke.

(Wikipedia can always say it better than I)

^^

This explanation.

It raises an interesting question though. When your in the states do you invite your guest over for a BBQ or a Grill when your cooking Steaks, Burgers etc.??

As far as the initial topic goes adding several sliced up European Weiners to KD completes the meal!

Perhaps some of the phrasing has come full circle, Back in 1985, We called it "KD".

Anyone else like their Kraft Dinner runny? I always add more milk than required.

Anyone think KD is like the worst humanly food available, but still eats it anyway?
