A miniature donkey or a mule. There were a few mules at the horseshows I used to compete at and they were the cutest things ever. I also knew a donkey called "Flapjack" who was simply adorable. Everytime he saw my truck pulling in, he'd start to bray hysterically.
Realistically, I'd like to have a cat but I'm pretty sure my dog would think it's a rabbit and eat it.

Those miniature donkey's can be awfully mean. We've got one and lemme tell you, he has anger issues sometimes. He hates the dogs, and is less than impressed with us when we're fencing. He's not wild though, as you can pet him most of the time. When he's pissed though, look out haha.
I've always wanted a monkey, or maybe a tiger.
