Saw this on another board and thought it was perfect. Couldn't decide which thread, though, so I chose this one.

That episode was ridiculously emotional for a cartoon. The ending still chokes me up.

"Jurassic Bark", about as depressing an ending as Requiem for a Dream. Damn...

I can't watch that episode anymore. I get choked up everytime, makes me think of my real dog who passed a few months ago. Can't do it.

So the big day is tomorrow, but does anyone know what channel we get it on here in Canada? My SHAW guide doesn't show it anywhere except for teletoon(ch.38) at 10pm everyday, but those are just repeats.

Comedy Central is picking up the new episodes.

Are you sure about comedy central doing it?
Futurama will be in HD on Comedy Network in the USA, is Canada really going to lose out on HD Futurama unless they are "purchased" in HD format online?

Hmm it appears I do, I think I'll leave them to add some confusion.

Unfortunately, the new Futurama episodes won't be on Canadian TV at all... However, Teletoon is looking into acquiring it. http://tvguide.ca/Watercooler/You+As...skamber_AD.htm

Even though it's in HD, the animation looks a lot shoddier for some reason.

Yeah, but that doesn't help the ratings and keeping the show on the air. Nor would I know where to find a copy that isn't virus laden.

Canadian ratings won't have any effect on if Futurama stays on the air (not to mention that unless you have one of those Neilsen boxes, nothing you watch is tracked anyways Canada or US). and i've never had a problem downloading a clean copy of a TV show from any big torrent site

Something odd while watching the two new episodes. I actually laughed during a cartoon show. I thought they were both great and included a lot of good pop-culture references which are all true.

The second episode was absolutely hilarious! Zapp Brannigan is as good as ever. So pumped it's back.
