Yeah, I knew that . And I get your point, but I know people that work in the DC IRS building, so it hit a bit of a nerve.
Now, let's not let this derail this important thread.
No harm no foul.

I think that the circumstances surrounding this man's treatment should be carefully examined. He didnt just go apeshart over nothing, I wonder what his situation with the IRS was and how it was handled.
I've heard how the IRS tends to treat people and collections, they make Gitmo interrogators look like pansies.

The IRS has a job to do, collect taxes. Have a disagreement with them and you have two courses of action, pay your taxes and then take the case to a federal district court or not pay the taxes and take the case to the US tax court. Simple enough, really.

Looks as though I'm not the only one jumping to unfounded conclusions. He never left a note that said "he was going to fly into a building" and a person didn't find it and call it in. links 1 2, read the parts about his wife and stepdaughter potentially informing the police of the note.
Consider jumping all over the guy that just flew into a building rather than my minor prediction which was hardly a conclusion. FYI I posted it before anything that indicated otherwise was released.

As supid as his final solution was, he makes some excellent points in his manifesto. It didn't read like that of a crazy person, it read of an intellegent, hard working guy that couldn't get a break, and got screwed over by the IRS along the way. I guess at least his message will be heard now, and I am assuming that was his goal.
