I know, my favorite part is that instead of stopping and buffering, the video just drops in quality temporarily.

My favourite part has to be the NBC (?) commentator saying "wait no longer Canada...the gold is yours"...get shivers every time hearing that.

I wonder if cbc wouldnt allow them to use Bob Cole's call, or if the cost was to high? Or simply did they just not want any CBC audio/video at all.

It's brutal for anybody without admin privileges to download the plug in.

We block all video where I work at. Bandwidth cost issues.

Its possible where ever you work they are doing the same and its not a silverlight issue but a cost / time waste issue.

Your answer is probably more likely, but maybe he is just a Rick Nash fan ?

Are you in the US? I'd love to know how you're doing it!

Great intro to the hockey game / hockey in General in Canada; got goosebumps.

Amazed the guy looks pretty comfortable on the ice. He's still pretty much my favorite actor of all time.

Will try to find a youtube link
It actually make a lot of sense for Michael J Fox to have some comfort on the ice. Vigorous exercise seems to help Parkinson's symptoms.

Good for him to pick such a great sport!!!

That's okay, because neither is Michael J. Fox.

Michael J. Fox Becomes American Citizen
Canadian-born Michael J. Fox has followed in the footsteps of Welsh-born actor Anthony Hopkins by swearing an oath and becoming an American citizen The actor who recently left his hit TV show Spin City to campaign for Parkinson's Disease, which he suffers from, has found it very difficult and has been "greatly bothered" by living in America but not being able to vote. Fox, who has lived in America for 20 years and whose wife and children are all American citizens, secretly swore the oath of allegiance earlier this year and is now reportedly looking forward to voting in the next general election.

However, he maintained his Canadian citizenship.

If this is you definition of "not Canadian" then there are some pretty integral members of the mens hockey team that are "not Canadian". If you work in the states, live in the States, I can understand wanting to VOTE in the States. Hell, I was working in Boston in 2000 and helped with the Nader campaign and wished I could vote...
