For me, there was this time when I slept with a new girl about every weekend (heartache, drives a guy to all sorts of remedies). That was before I met my second wife, who's so sizzling in the sack I've noticed I rarely even fantasize about other women anymore.

All kinds of people have all sorts of hobbies, but at least with traditional roleplaying you actually meet people, which makes it different from say posting to hockey forums. Yes, you can actually meet cute girls and women when roleplaying. If you're games any good, they love it.
I'm sorry dude, but I had a good laugh at this.

Someone makes a comment about the sterotypical image of dorky virgins playing D&D, and someone comes back with.

Well the guys I play with have had sex with 10 girls....EACH!
I'll bet that's more than you.

Oh, and I've had sex with a lot too, but not anymore, becasue my new wife is really good at sex.....but you don't know her, she's from Niagra Falls (I added that last part for effect )

Then you follow it up subtling mocking posting on a message board....by posting on a message board.

I'm sure what you said is all true, but all I can picture is McLovin trying to convince everyone that he's a huge stud.

Edit: I usually don't do this, but two annoying grammar/spelling mistakes in a row is really bugging me.

You're = contraction of "you" and "are"
Your = posessive

games = plural of game
game's = depending on context contraction of "game" and "is", or possessive of game

So what you said:
"If you're games any good, they love it"
What it means:
"If you are several games any good, they love it"
What you really meant: (presumably, becasue what you really put down makes no sesne)
"If your game's any good, they love it"

Is there any frackin way that we can have a moratorium on the whole grammer police thing, its almost as annoying as bad grammer.

Honest to god, there are some people who (me) who really don't want to proof read every single post or quip that I put up on this board.

I'm not singling you out Shantz, but really there are better ways to point out a flaw in someones post.

D&D is awesome.

Don't hate. If that's all these thugs are doing all day in prison I'd say that's pretty good. Better than rapin' and shankin'.

While I do not find the murder of an innocent funny, I have to say this is one of the most enjoyable threads in awhile. And Troutie, Christians can play D&D, WoW, Runescape, etc, being that it is fantasy, not reality. If you aren't down with that, then my level 14 cavalier would like to have a talk with your puny level 9 acolyte.

D&D is serious business... Now, that the CP Poker League is up & running (barely), can a CP AD&D group be far behind?

Great! Now all the D&D, living-in-mom's-basement geeks are thinking it's that much cooler now that it is offically gangsta.

I usually don't bust out the grammar police act myself, and I agree that when people bust it out to try to strengthen their own position it's silly, but this one just really bugged me for some reason.

Yes I reaize you got me for spelling "Buy" as "by" in the other thread, but there's a difference between missing a letter and apparently having no clue as to how apostrophes work. When you misuse/don't use it on consecutive words, that's not a typing mistake, that's not knowing how it works.
