I'd like to see one last Spider man movie where he finally nails Mary Jane and shockingly kills her when he gives her cancer due to his radioactive sperm.

The best part of the movie was when Parker walked into the jazz bar to get Mary Jane back, and a guy behind us (who was sitting with his girlfriend) said in a not too quiet voice, "God I hope he hits her again" That movie was brutal.
My buddy went to the premier of 3 and it was filled with super fans. You know the kind ... these people were dressed up as marvel characters.
So the movie ends and there is a real forced spattering of light, awkward applause. Some guy at the back yells out "What the f*** are you clapping for? That was complete s***!".
Yeah, but they used a quote that I read from before the Green Lantern casting. Yes the link is new, but the quote isn't. However I'm too lazy to prove it. I'm sure it will all work out though.

yeah, Reynolds seemed genuinely pissed about what they did to Deadpool in Wolverine. I think it will be ok.
I would have switched Puck and Shaman's city of origin.. but they probably just through a dart at the map.

I'm actually glad some of the film nazis came out to post in this thread. The Spiderman movie franchise is one of/if not, the worst comic hero movies. I didn't mind McGuire as a casting choice, and I do realize that it's more teenage oriented than say, Batman, but the director and script writers absolutely murdered the franchise by making it so cheesy and kiddish. The Spiderman franchise if written almost like the Dark Knight series could be fairly well done, but instead they decided to take it way too prissy, and I'm sure with the 4th installment being more or less along the same lines, it wouldn't do that great at the boxoffice. Get Scorcese to do it and perhaps you'll at the very least get a good script.
Spiderman 3 was mildly torturous at best. Some of the scenes were absolutely horrible and seeing Dunst's snaggletooth prominently was the deal breaker.

I'm thrilled about this news. Hopefully they realize that they cannot really do another origin story and ape the Hulk reboot.
They should have their pick of directors for this one, considering the payday that will be involved. I don't think that there is any need to try and make Spiderman as dark as Batman, since the characters are so different.
My biggest complaint about Tobey Maguire is that he was a horrendous Spiderman. His Peter Parker stuff was fine (other than the blight that was Spiderman 3), but he wasn't funny and there wasn't a lot of attention paid to his scientific skills in the course of his conflict with the villains. Also, other than the fight with Dr. Octopus in the 2nd one, the action sequences were not as strong as other franchises, IMO.
Also, please cast someone better and a bit more menacing than Topher Grace as Eddie Brock. Worst person to play the character. Jake Busey would have had the sinister look to the character, but is far too old, and kind of looks ######y. Needed a bigger, more intimidating person to play the part.
So much for seeing Doc Connor turn into the lizard anymore, which would have been a great villain for Spiderman 4. Alas, I don't think it will be.
Any why was Green Goblin 2 just Marty McFly in a paintball mask and chest protector?
Apparrently Bruce Campbell was supposed to be Mysterio in an upcoming Spiderman movie, Spiderman 4 was what I heard last.
So much frustration over characters, and loss of Bruce Campbell's appearances.

I'm not a McGuire fan, but I don't think anyone could blame the guy with the type of character they wanted him to portray. He fits the geek image well too. Along with him, James Franco and Willem Dafoe, the casting was horrendous. Their acting was annoying, but when you put it all together, all of them acted too theatrically and dramatic, which you can basically blame on the directors vision. I know it's just a movie, but I think I was pulling out my hair at how dumb the series was while watching it in the theatre. Certainly the Spiderman character is different than Batman, but at least make the action good and the characters grow a pair of gonads. That's not too much to ask.
I like McGuire. It sucks that he's been lying the entire time, but at least he came clean. Is that enough to get him into Cooperstown? I think he'll eventually get in. Oh, we're talking about Tobey and not Mark?

I hope people aren't expecting The Dark Knight with Spider-man in it. The Spider-Man franchise is not the Batman one. They make it as dark as that and it will only come across as a retread. To me, anyway.
Honestly, I don't feel like there should be a reboot of it, and if there is, not any time soon.

Box of donuts on Shia Labeouf as Peter Parker. That kid just has a knack for ruining all my treasured childhood franchises.
Or maybe Robert Pattinson if they feel like going all 'Dark Knight' with the atmosphere. Another box of donuts says he spends more time topless than he does in the Spider-Man outfit.
No kidding. I don't know what it is about him, but I hate him. When I heard he was ruining acting as Indie, I felt as though I had been punched in the nuts...by a dork.
