First of all thank you Fotze for a great response. I do not believe in god but if i did I would hope that he would not be so petty as to only liek those that believed in him blindly/or for other reasons. I would rather hope that if he did truly exist that he would then prove to me that when I died it was worth it for me to believe in him and realize my mistakes.

Jonesy et. al. the one thing I have always said when pressed with this issue is this. If you have had times in your life when you feel that god is there then more power to you. If you feel that at all times that god is there once agian more power to you. Whatever makes anyome lead a better life or even a normal life I support.

My wofe believes in god. I never mock her. I think it is great that she has that belief. But I cannot/will not hold that smae belief. My life goes on working well. Her life goes on working well. And if there is a god I think that he would be happy with that.

But for me there is no god.

edit: my spelling is so bad I will not correct it but I think you get the point.
