Frankly, I almost wish I could hit a reset button, or have a save point I could refer back to. This year I think I might be in for lots of changes.

I can't say it's purely a New Years resolution, but I'm on day 2 of not smoking. It's really a decision for the mini-LFF on the way, but it's also for myself.
Day 2 and I feel a little weird. The odd pang, but nothing too drastic. Just a weird feeling...very bizarre.

Travel a lot, I want to fly at least 100,000 km this year.
And... bang a different chick at least every month.
Yeah.

One of my buddies did that last year in Scotland, I didn't go because of work, but when he came back, he told me he banged like 5-6 chicks a day for a month because all he did was go clubbing and get drunk. His last couple days through were hilarious, he ended up getting robbed and this gay guy picked him up off the streets and let him stay for a bit until he got enough money to pay him back and to fly back to calgary.
And oh yeah, he's pretty sure, hes gotten half of Scotland pregnant too.. haha.

He went clubbing/drinking 24/7, so he ended up taking a couple girls home every couple hours and sleeping with them.

If the story is true... 5-6 chicks a day? Wow... I'd be holding an icepack after 3

The amount of STI's he has picked up, his junk must be as moldy as 40 year old blue cheese.

Good job. Keep at it. Take er day by day. You'll soon hit a point where you won't want to smoke because you'd ruin all your hard work. (At least that's how it was for me). Mine was about a month or two. It was tough, but worth it. That's how I fought the urges, anyway. 4 years now.

I call BS on your buddies story. At least my goal is somewhat realistic.
Unless your "buddy" is Tiger Woods.

Read (and finish) a new book every week. I've been slowly going through Moby Dick, Beyond Good and Evil and The Republic for about 2 months now. Time to pick up my game.

Keep at it. It's tough, but I was smoking almost 3 packs a day and quit cold turkey. I'm coming up on 4 years now without a cigarette.
Just keep telling yourself that smoking is not an option. No matter what.

To break all of Tiger's records.
Or,
more productive
comfortable
not drinking too much
regular exercise at the gym (3 days a week)
getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries
at ease
eating well (no more microwave dinners and saturated fats)
a patient better driver
a safer car (baby smiling in back seat)
sleeping well (no bad dreams)
no paranoia
careful to all animals (never washing spiders down the plughole)
keep in contact with old friends (enjoy a drink now and then)
will frequently check credit at (moral) bank (hole in wall)
favours for favours
fond but not in love
charity standing orders
on sundays ring road supermarket
(no killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants)
car wash (also on sundays)
no longer afraid of the dark
or midday shadows
nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate
nothing so childish
at a better pace
slower and more calculated
no chance of escape
now self-employed
concerned (but powerless)
an empowered and informed member of society (pragmatism not idealism)
will not cry in public
less chance of illness
tires that grip in the wet (shot of baby strapped in back seat)
a good memory
still cries at a good film
still kisses with saliva
no longer empty and frantic
like a cat
tied to a stick
that's driven into
frozen winter (the ability to laugh at weakness)
calm
fitter, healthier and more productive
a pig
in a cage
on antibiotics
