I don't like snow. Unfortunately I will be back in the snow in Calgary on New Years. I can't wait to get back down here again in March.

Below, walking a road closed for the winter on Christmas Day, west of Turner Valley. About minus 10 here.



Below, yesterday, Boxing Day, some ridge climbing west of Chain Lakes . . .



it was about minus 18 near my house as we were leaving and minus 12 down on the prairie in the distance but plus 1 at this altitude, about 7,500 feet.

Old ugly rained on snow in the Flathead Valley. And cold. But the ice is nice and smooth on the pond.
