I don't see how this is as sad as many people are making it out to be, she had all the opportunities in the world, she was rich, she was good looking and she threw it all away years ago with drugs and other crap. It is possible that she had a preexisting heart condition which would result in this happening, the odds are that she did this to herself and that I have no sympathy for... same thing with Heath Ledger, rich people who don't realize what they have in life, and end up losing it all....

Like everyone else I think drugs. She's been outed in mainstream Hollywood cause of her drug problems. All she was doing for the last few years were small independent stuff.

So if you are rich your death doesn't matter because they had all the opportunities in the world?

Good to know to people without money don't make mistakes in life.

Bitch! Kipper is not a random foreigner. He is our God.

To the average Canadian he is just some random foreigner. The only point I was trying to make is some people feel others are more important than what me or you might.

From reading the stories it sounds like she was pretty sick. One story alludes to her being on multiple prescription drugs due to illness. MSNBC talks about not publishing pictures of her from an event because of how sick she looked and thin.

I know its popular to talk about the drug culture of Hollywood, and there's no doubt that she was a pretty hard party person, but you have to wonder about prescription drug abuse, or worse yet an underlying condition.

The fact of the matter is that we can become callous because the person that died was rich and successful, but she parlayed her talent into this but at the end of the day, she's dead, and death is death and equally tragic.

Too bad. My first thought was drugs too. But anorexia/bulimia can be pretty hard on the heart, too. Either way, 32 seems way, way too young.

Wow, that's nuts! I got dragged into seeing Just Married with her and Ashton Kutcher, and I had a bit of a thing for her after that. She looked pretty cute in that movie and I liked her personality too. I seriously don't think I've seen even a pic of her since then(which was made in '02 or '03) so I don't know how sickly she was looking. Didn't even know she had any problems. RIP

Not a fan of this line of thinking. Because somebody has money they should be void of problems? Heath ledger is a poor example imo as he was often described as somebody with mental issues. I don't understand the thinking that if somebody makes money their problems are just supposed to disappear.

I'm not sure that I actually care, but on Google News, it says that the prescriptions were for "flu like symptoms." On a different news article, there is a quote from the coroner stating that it appears she died of natural causes. Net-net: Way too early to jump to any conclusions.

This is the kind of junk she was apparently willing to do these days. The only reason I know about this movie, and have watched it, is that was filmed entirely in and around the Davenport/Quad City area. Some seriously bad acting going on all around, but also Brittany did not look healthy in it at all, especially compared her earlier films.

Man, no wonder they moved the team to Abbotsford. Scary stuff...

Pretty sad when anyone that young dies. The question not being asked is how does that fat tub 'o' lard get a cute actress like Brittany Murphy?

She was a very pretty girl. Always thought of her as under rated.

I really liked her voice as well.
