News has come out that the game will have 40+ hours of content. 25 hours to complete the main story, and 15 hours for side quests.
Am I the only one that doesn't like long single player campaigns?
I was really looking forward to this game, but I don't have a lot of time to sit down and play video games. A fun, solid, 6-8 hour rich experience is usually want I look for, as I feel satisfaction in finishing games.
Anything longer than 6-8 hours feels like the game gets too repetitive and can't hold my interest. See Grand Theft Auto IV as an example.

Depends...I find that the side quests can get repetitive, but if the main storyline is good I can play forever.

I understand where your coming from, but when a game costs $60, I don't want to be able to beat it in 2 days, I feel ripped off.

This is defitntely the big issue. If the 60+ hours is really 10 hours that has been stretched into 60 by making it repetitive then no thanks. If it's genuine game play, why not? Rather pay 60 for one long game, than 60 each for 3 short ones.

That's true, they said in the article (I didn't post it) that they wanted to change things up in the campaign to avoid being repetitive. Rock Steady really is a good developer.

Based on the way the last game was I have faith in them...Looking forward to this and now NHL 12 just from that 1 screen shot of running the goalie.
I've already begun planting the seeds of sickness in the minds of my supervisor and co-workers with subtle little 'coughs' and 'is it freezing in here or is it just me?' type comments, complete with making a big show of wrapping myself in a jacket and asking people if they know if we have tea and Tylenol.
I'll dial it up in a few days.

So excited for this game. Arkham Asylum is the most fun I've had playing a game on this generation of consoles.
Ditto on the awesomness of Kevin Conroy. I grew up with Batman TAS and still watch them today. These games are pretty much the video game tie-ins of that series, which is fantastic.
Also, what a line-up of villians. Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, the Riddler (actually in the game this time). I can't wait for the Scarecrow sections, those were ridiculously awesome in the first game.
