I take it you've only listend to Sky Blue Sky if that's how you honestly feel. A Ghost is Born, Summerteeth, and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot are great albums.
I've herd Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. At the time I was dating a girl that was a big Wilco fan, and after telling her about my dislike from Sky Blue Sky she insisted I listen to YHF and told me that I would love it, and see how great Wilco really is, and why Jeff Tweedy is such a moody genius, etc. Anyway I listened and it was just as dull and boring as the rest of their music that I'd previously listened to.
It's strange because the music that they play is generally I genre that I enjoy but for some reason I find them extremely drab and stale.
troutman, I have a tremendous amount of respect when it comes to your opinion of music, but I suppose this time we'll have to disagree. I struggle to find the appeal in that song, and find it far from riveting or harrowing, to each his own I suppose.
But since we are playing the riveting/harrowing game I'll nominate these tracks:

This is one of the most riveting/harrowing songs ever:
Great lines:
The ashtray said, you were up all night
Followed me down, the neck to D
Something in my veins, bloodier than blood
As an album, Summerteeth has some of my favourite lyrical content ever.

What do you know about The xx, and Bat For Lashes?
I knew that was coming, and deservedly so. Although their last album was so awful that I haven't bothered with them for awhile. I'm sure when my inner emo kid comes a' calling I'll find them on my iPod somewhere.
