I was in Sobeys yesterday and they had the "All I want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" playing, I swear it was the old pedophile guy from Family Guy singing it.

At my job the other day they had a 15 song CD on loop.
It included a christmas rap song, my two front teeth, the chipmunks, last christmas, and man with all the toys.
15 songs, looped...all day. Days like that tempt me to buy a gun.
I don't mind Christmas music but the above are just (high pitched) noise.
I actually like Christmas music, but I don't have to deal with chaos Christmas shopping because I do all of mine online. Besides a recent NY trip, I haven't been to a mall in 6 months.

Haha.. bump from last year. Getting sick of the christmas music again. In the office and in all stores.
However, last night we had Carolers come to our house. Which was great !
I would in a million years rather listen to xmas music in a mall over stupid carolers.
Whats the point. I want to slam the door in their faces but they know where i live. so i just stand there in the doorway with the fakest smile known to man and give them a pity applause at the end. I rather talk to mormons all day than listen to carolers.

Its one song and I thought it was a very neighbourly thing to do. It was a grand total of 3 minutes.
I grew up in a Jewish/Chrristian mix home and got to take part in both xmas and Chanukah. I think the fact that Chanukah had no annoying, repetitive, commercialized tunes to subliminally hypnotize you into a buying a bunch of doodads and thingamacraps at your local Walmart would be enough to make me choose Judaism if I had not chosen the vastly superior path of Atheism.
I love traditional Christmas music, but despise the poppy do-overs that inundate the radio airwaves. I'll listen to Bing and the oldies, or give me a good chorale version of any of the traditional Christmas songs and I'm happy. Listening to Mariah Carey or Ricky Martin singing Christmas music makes me want to drive nails into my own ears. Notable exception for Sarah McLachlan's "wintersong" album though. Very well done.

Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer - worst Christmas song ever (possibly worst song ever) - although I give Sir Paul a close runner up. I guess you could argue that Sir Paul's is worse, since he is capable of writing so much better.
Oddly enough, I love the classic religious carols. O Holy Night, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Silent Night, Handel's Messiah... although I am not religious in the least. I like them because they are songs of unrestrained happiness. I sometimes go to midnight mass to hear the music (if anyone knows a church with a good choir, let me know).
I'd feel uncomfortable if someone showed up to carol on my doorstep. It happened once, when a group of Mormons showed up to sing a couple carols on my front porch. My brother and I were on our way out the door to meet some friends for a night of drinking. Awkward...

My Mum used to listen to Michael Bolton's Christmas album. That was until my Dad and I hid it somewhere where she'd never find it.
That album is a christmas eve tradition for my family that will never die. My mom rebought the album when she scratched it and the second track would skip. I was sad.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town is especially bad. All that screaming. Good luck with that on the 24th.
