I don't believe in Aliens/UFO's for a different reason... I think if they've got the technology to travel over these vast distances, then their technology is so far advanced that if they didn't want us seeing them, we wouldn't.
maybe that's the point. it was brought up earlier, that over time, they are making us more aware of their presence. and someday, hopefully soon, they will make that first open contact with us.

Personally I think that's ridiculous but whatever floats your boat.

Maybe we arent worth communicating too? But they just come here because we are the only planet with cows which they abduct to take home and have steak?

I don't think it's ridiculous. I think it's more ridiculous to think that if these sightings are indeed aliens, that it's accidental. These guys can get here from wherever, but then forget to turn off the headlights while they case the planet?

If they're race is advanced to the point where they can travel to our planet, then I would assume they could also observe humans and our behaviour without having to get this close.
I don't think we'd ever see an alien aircraft. If they exist, they're far too smart to get caught.

Maybe we can't get our head around the concept of an advanced species just observing another.
We are smart enough to 'observe' animals yet we choose to invade their habitats, capture and tag them to track their movements, kidnap them and put them in cages for viewing, or train them for our amusment. Why would we expect any lesser of another species.
I still don't believe there have ever been any alien ships flying around our skies though.
I've never seen one of these Unidentified Flying Objects. Too bad for me.
But if these are real, I doubt they come from a distant planet. These things have been mentioned in ancient texts, drawn in paintings, I think even found on hieroglyphs. They've been here throughout Earth's history. It's not likely an advanced civilization would be casually observing us for thousands of years.
More likely, they are from Earth, and are phenomena we can't observe yet because our technology hasn't caught up to a level where we can detect these things at will. (Kind of like ghosts.)
Or if they really are from outer space, they are from a system so close to ours that flying by is just a stop on the way somewhere else.
A spotlight from some club with the beams reflecting off the atmosphere. It would explain the S turns and the speed.
That or it's Eric Estrada up in his fancy CHIPS helicopter. The light is either off the copter or he's smiling up there groovin to some Mowtown and the light is his teeth.
What if they are humans from the future that have found a way to travel time. Maybe that's why they haven't contacted us yet - they don't want to alter anything during our time period, which may affect the future
I find it strange that people can believe so easily in alien life (not saying that is wrong in and of itself), in theories such as aliens built the pyramids, that there is cities on the moon, yet they can't believe in an Almighty God.

I wouldn't put believing in alien life on the same level as aliens building the pyramids or that there are cities on the moon... We're here on this planet so it's not beyond reason that there are other planets in the vastness of space and time that life arose on another planet. Now aliens are actively visiting earth I would put on the same level as aliens building the pyramids, but not that they probably exist (though there's never been any evidence).
I would be interested to see the overlap of people who believe aliens built the pyramids or that there are cities on the moon and those that believe in a God. You are saying that people believe those things but don't believe in a God, but I'm not convinced that gap exists.

How? Theres more evidence towards Aliens being real, then "god"
