I loved all the Buy More scenes, I thought again Jeff and lester were a perfect contrast to the drama in the Castle.
As I mentioned before about a lot of critics already having seen these 4 episodes, the next one is suppose to be just as good if not better. Really can't wait to see Casey's back story even more as Adam Baldwin does an amazing job.
Chuck is back!!!

one problem i have is that we never learn any kind of motivation for Fulcrum or The Ring or whatever you want to call them. all these hundreds of American spies working against their own government, and never any clear reason why

I've never seen this show.
Worth watching? Could someone summarize it for me? What's it about? You folks are all writing things that make sense to someone who knows the program but not for a noob.

wow, thats tough to write about
In a nutshell, Chuck is a slacker who works in an electronics store. One day he gets a call from a friend that he hasn't seen since college. This friend is now a spy with the CIA. Through a series of events Chuck gets implanted with a technology called the intersect which puts all of the CIA's information in his head.
Because of that the CIA sends a team to re place him since the original intersect was destroyed.
He goes on to become originally an unwilling spy.
At the end of last season he intentionally imprints himself with the latest intersect which allows him to flash or aquire skills (such as kung fu, bomb disarming, gun use) and he becomes an intentional spy.
He also has to keep his spy links secret from his friends.
he's in love with his handler
His other handler might be a spy.

I'm hoping were going to get some more info on the Ring before the season is done and that may go hand in hand with finding out more about Shaws back story

Outside of the basic story the show has some very unique qualities
Yvonne Strahoviski who plays Sarah flys under the radar in the media, but is easily one of the hottest actress's in hollywood. Not to mention a very talented one at that.
Humour. Show has always made me laugh and has never gotten to serious.
Music. In my mind the best show on TV for it's music. I've learnt about so many new bands thanks to it
80's and 90's references. Alf, Duck hunt, Tron, the list goes on.
Geust Stars. Show always finds a way to bring in talented ones. Nicole Richie was one of the best, since it resulted in a shower and locker room cat fight with Sarah. Chevy Chase was brilliant last year. Michael Clarke Duncan, Stone Cold, Gary Cole, Jenny McCarthy, Dominic Monagahan.

One last note...Chuck was only given 13 episodes to start with before it was given a back 6. Chuck vs the Tic Tac is episode 10, the writers wrote the 13 before they knew this so 13 would've acted as a season finale. Which means look for a lot of drama the next coming weeks and a wee bit of a spoiler (in white below) about the episode titles
The 13th and the 14th episode are titled Chuck Vs the Other guy (reference to shaw I'd assume) and the 14th Chuck Vs the Honeymooners with the description reading "Chuck and Sarah ride on the same train as the Basque terrorist Juan Diaz Arnaldo."

It's a show of pure entertainment. Comedy, action, drama all rolled up. It doesn't take itself too seriously, is fun to watch and the lady parade is awesome. You forgot Kristin Kreuk and the delicious Rachel Bilson.. Plus Chuck's sister is gorgeous.
The music seems to be Josh Schwartz thing. The OC always had good music, Chuck has good music, and I keep turning my attention to Gossip Girl when my girlfriend is watching (which has turned into me watching it) to hear the tunes.
Yes.. I watch Gossip Girl.. sigh..

Kermitology
Schwartz has another show (this man just never sleeps) coming out on CBS with Kierstin Kreuk. Half hour comedy but hopefully with the same quality soundtrack all of his other shows have had.
If you ever want to try a new sound out or get your Itunes stocked with a little more Indie flavor just go to the OC's, Gossip Girls or Chucks soundtrack. Some of the bands he introduced to me have turned out to be my favorites. Frightned Rabbit, The national, Blitzen Trapper, Death Cab, The Killers, The Thrills, The Eeels, the list goes on.

My god that was simply the best episode Chuck has EVER produced in my mind. I never thought I could get my mind off this lost tonight but that episode just made me. This is simply the best show on television! Adam Baldwin was great. That last scene with him and Levi gave me chills. WOWWWWW!!!
The episode was amazing through the first 40 minutes I thought and then it just hit a new level of awesome.
Loved the Casey development.
The communication through matches he left for Walker
Casey's speech to Chuck at the end
The Ellie/Awesome dynamic
Morgan and Chucks planet of the apes talk
The action sequences
So freeeaaakkinnggg much!

I'm still really convinced that the ring is a American government intelligence organization and Chuck is not fighting on the side of the angels.
I'm interested in seeing what happens with Casey now.
But the scene after Chuck took the pill and the look he gave was almost frightening.
I wonder if that pill has long term effects.

Preview for next weeks episode. I have this feeling episode 13 we're going to see Chuck and Sarah run away very much like she proposed at the start of the season. Everything is set up for it, and this promo just makes me believe i'm onto something which could go hand in hand with the backstory I think is coming with the Ring and who Chuck/Sarah are working for.

Casey better not be fading out of the show, if they try to permanently replace him with Clark Kent i'm gonna be pissed. in fact this last episode was so great because mr. man of steel was nowhere to be found, he's such a boring character and actor in general
though i have to say while i understand these are TV actors and can't do the same kind of fight training as in the movies (though Chuck's scenes are getting pretty damn good) i had to cringe a little when Sarah gave that spin-o-rama forearm shiver to a guy that you see in every other cheesy TV fight scene

Well this is more of a buzz kill then watching Brandon Routh try and act. Chuck drew in it's lowest numbers of all time last night with a 1.9. How are people not watching this show?!?!?

that is really surprising. last weeks episode was probably the best...until last night's episode.
i have to say that chuck is pretty consistent. no 'bad' episodes, most are above the average. whereas most shows out there have their down time, they will have a great first season, only to flop the next...etc.

Seems like funny enough Daylight Savings Time had a lot to do with it according to what I'm reading today, as House was also down 17%. Hopefully the show bounces back next week in the ratings. Because those had to be the two best episodes in a row the show may have ever produced
