Why should they be warning people to stay out of the water now? Is an attack from a 6-meter shark so much more likely to happen or to kill a surfer? I would think that whichever one attacks you, you're still dead. Really, that's just evidence that there's one less shark out in the water to worry about.

Nonetheless, it's a really cool story.

Man, if there ever was a bigfoot, ogopogo, loch ness monster or something like that we could prove it would be an amazing story. However, humanity is not equipped to handle it properly and we would probably kill it right away or ruin it in some fashion. Until then the cryptozoologists can keep looking out into the stars...
