Since A Tribe Called Quest was posted recently, I present to you perhaps their most perfect song ever. The melodies and bass just mesh perfectly on this song. The melody drops off when Phife is rhyming to highlight the bassline, and picks back up when Tip is on the mic. Love the sample use in this one too. Check it:

I'm Bad cracks me up now. I remember heading downtown to either Music World or Sam The Record Man in TD Square to pick that up when it came out. It has not dated well.

Not a YouTube video, but big news coming out of New York last night. Beanie did a song for Jay-Z and premiered it on Kay Slay. Apparently it's not a diss record, but it's more of a calling out.

If Malachi didn't suck so much, 'Living Proof' the album would be considered a Top 20 album of all-time. Dap always did his thing, but Malachi is awful.
