I wouldn't call it a hoax exactly. Linking it to a vaccine injury certainly wasn't true. But she wasn't faking it. You should read firebug's link.

The rare condition, known as dystonia, is very real and could probably be described as a more serious form of Parkinsons. The claim that it can develop from the trace amounts of mercury in a flu shot is what is under dispute. If this woman is legitimally suffering from dystonia, it is likely that she would have eventually developed the condition regardless.

Edit- ya, it looks like it's a hoax. I already feel sorry for this woman's future kids.

I don't. I'm glad there are people out there that get paid to bust losers that pull stupid scams like that. Like the "homeless disabled" guy in Calgary that sat in a wheelchair and bummed cash all day, then wheeled his way to his car and then got up and threw it in the trunk and drove home.

Although, I haven't figured out her scam yet. Maybe she just wanted her 15 minutes.

I don't think its a hoax. She may have had an Illergic reaction after the Flu Shot. Just like the Flu, it comes and goes. Through I can't explain how she got that British Accent. Haha.

She was going back and forth between the Ausralian, British, and her regular Ohio accident on certain words which makes me feel she was faking it because the accent wasn't continuous but rather more like somebody who was faking an accent stumbling on words they hadn't really though of saying in that accent before.
