Board Game (Euro) Night in McKenzie Towne (November 6th)

Didnt realize euros had a hate on for Twilight Imperium.

Maybe try Pandemic with a ghost hand. It is cooperative, whereby the two of you will be trying to win together rather that beating each other. It also will play in less than an hour, with simpler setup than Catan. For a competitive match for two, we usually play carcassonne, but granted, two isn't its ideal configuration.

Yeah, Carassonne H&G tends to be our two-person game of choice. But I'll look into Pandemic; I definitely want a more cooperative-style game for better marital harmony. Things are fine until someone starts trying to steal meadows, at which point the game can quickly get petty in a two-person mode.

Biggest problem with Diplomacy is that's it's rather unbalanced... different countries have different win rates. Now the 5 Italys variant... it's perfect!

I won't be able to come either because I'll be playing in the previously mentioned game of Twilight Imperium. Never played before, and this is my chance to give it a go.

I hope you guys get a good turnout! How many showed up last time? Any after session reports on what you played etc.?
