I should have said they sounded like the people who were whining about the way Hinman was campaigning back when he won the by-election.

Can't stand the popularity, or the win, so you complain.

And if it wasn't exactly like that, how come they didn't complain a year ago, or 2 years ago when First Lady first signed up?

That's perfectly ok by me, as the number of such threads I've started has been zero. I don't mind participating in such threads, although I wouldn't consider myself "religion bashing" so much as "religion opposing", but that is an entirely different issue, isn't it?

I don't have any problem with your stance. I agree with your position that people are too quick to let their own political biases influence their stance on issues like whether First Lady should be allow to post WRA related material. I, personally, have no problem with her posts.

As such, I was going to thank your post until I ran into the Liberal whiners quip. You clearly show your own political bias with such remarks while simultaneously advocating people check their own biases at the door. Not exactly practicing what you preach. If you actually want to encourage discussions that range the political spectrum, rather than generate into partisan flame-wars, I'd suggest you quit trying to paint an entire party and its supports as whiners.

I wasn't accusing you, I was just adding a topic to the list of threads to be consolidated.

I'm thinking you missed the thread where some people here started whining about the way Hinman was campaigning.

Keeping us in the loop is fine, but I would hate it if this community were being used as a focus group to test reaction to new policy. IMO, we should get paid for that

That's too bad, because I was spoilin' to completely derail this thread by somehow working evolution into it.
