You can turn off their info so it will never hit your newsfeed. Like I do with every one of my junior high friends who added me. even though i haven't seen or talked to them in over 20 years.

I'm talking about the music. Imagine going on facebook every 4-5 minutes and changing your status. It boggles my mind. But it could be because I only go on FB once every few days.

I recently got rid of my account, I found myself needlessly wasting time browsing mindless crap from people I could care less about.
The only thing I used it for was photo sharing which I now just use flickr for.
