Shatner absolutely killed it in that movie. His 15 minutes made an otherwords horrible sequel worth every penny. The entrance when the view screen ends up being a window in a door is comedy gold. And he just seems so committed and serious in such a corny role. Shatner is the best deadpan comedy actor out there bar none, even better than Leslie Nielsen IMO.

The look on his face when she throws the snow at him gets me every time. Absolutely classic.
