Do you oil them? Mine usually last me about 4 or 5 years before I buy a new set.

No need to get it cut, just comb it all back and try to get it to stay up without gel, then tape a beak and some beads for eyes, and then you can post this pic all you want :
Sure, you MIGHT look kind of dumb, but your hair IS a bird, so we would all feel inferior with our human haircuts.

I have bought the Remington Titanium the last couple of times and they advertise the non oiling thing. I think my hair is too coarse and that my sweat is corrosive. lol

Don't want a fauxhawk, and would like it semi-long, rather than super short. Suggestions (pictures would be nice)?
Oh yeah, and I'm 19, so I don't need the "Hank Hill" older man haircut.
Edit:
My hair is sort of like this, but a tad shorter and doesn't part in the middle:

I am totally going to email this thread to Mike Richards right now. Next Tuesday morning you shall become IMMORTAL!
EDIT: No, I am not actually going to do that. Email Mike Richards I mean. Good to have a lawyer as a buddy.

Bang, this is the right answer. Yes clippers on #2 are great when you're married, but when you're still in the wooing process more effort is needed at times. There's nothing wrong with going for the style that the particular lady enjoys.
Sure you might look like a tit, but if you do it right you'll get to get to look like one while looking at two.

God forbid a guy give a crap what his hair looks like. It's not like he's asking who does the best bikini wax in the city or anything.
If you want advice, feel free to PM me a picture--it's hard to tell what would work on you without a picture of what it looks like now/knowing what kind of hair you have/facial shape/etc.

In lieu of the self clipper discussion.
What brand do you recommend getting? I have been using my current clippers for about two years and they are pretty close to being retired.

Why do women like it short? All the guys at school/my age have short ######baggery hair. It is really that nice? I mean, does having 16/20 guys in a room with fauxhawks really look good? Not that mine is "better", my graduation picture is a joke, I look like a hippy. I'd post it, but I may give someone a stroke by them laughing.
I guess the only reasonable thing to do is to fauxhawk it:

Yeah PM witty, I did earlier today, she gave me some great advice, and was even able to correctly guess the number they use on the sides.
Now if I can just find time to go get a haircut, working 6 days a week kind of blows.
