So you didn't have a problem with the non-stop spending in the Bush administration? At least Obama is trying to find a way to pay for his agenda. That $800 billion prescription drug bill that Bush signed into law three years ago was never paid for. And the Iraq War has cost trillions. And while all the spending took place, Bush decided to push through a tax cut. Anyone wonder why the economy went into a recession?

See the problem with American politics is that both parties feed the peranoia of extremists on the left or right. Whoever is President is going to be accused of a plot to destroy the country by the nutcases.

You're severely ignorant if you think the tax cuts were the reason there was a 'worldwide' recession.
But to answer your original question, yes I very much had a problem with the spending habits Bush and the Republicans had.

But you just throw the barbs at Democrats? I've never seen you criticize Republican policy unless pushed to comment on it, yet you're all over anything the Dems do.

Seeing as though we are not under the rule of a dictator regardless as to what the CBC forums might say, I think that there is a significant difference between here and Iraq/Afghanistan in that fact alone. Past that I think that I would much rather be alive than a martyr and I sure as hell don't think I would target civilians which has been done in countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq, so I really don't see anything in the way of similarities there either.

Probably blow a few things up. It wouldn't be too hard to cut off roads if they appeared to be their supply lines. If the invasion happened in winter time-all the better. I wouldn't be too kind with any Canadians who assisted them either.

I've openly said numerous times that I agree more with the blue-dog Democrats than I do with ANY member of the Republican Party.
That isn't enough?
The republicans don't have a freakin' policy right now. They're acting much like the Democrats. Like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off.

I'd build an igloo as protection and then I'd ask them to completely wipe Edmonton off the map. I am sick of seeing that eyesore.

Mods could you somehow block Americans from viewing this thread as we plot our retribution/America's final destruction.
It would be a shame to spoil the surprise.

I'd bring back the 'Super-size' option to Mcdonalds and then watch them all implode.
