I have an office ... sometimes I wish I had a cubicle. I'm not good at keeping myself in line. I screw around on the internets far too often. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining ... but a lot of times I need the motivational kick in the ass.

That's an unusually high number of Lisa Ws for one office. Shouldn't there be a cap or something?

Corner office just off of the electronics shop. Thank god it is away from all the other managers and their mind numbing stupidity...
It looks out over Yaletown right at the brew pub. Mostly I sit on the internet or stare longingly out at brew pub and envy all the people that can drink a nice cold pint of beer during the work day.
Oh, and Yaletown girls can be hot!

Oil and Gas- I'm in a cube with a window - the window makes it tolerable, though I hate the lack of a door. Once my coworker leaves (3 weeks!), I'll be moving into an inside office - so bye-bye window, but hello twice the space and a door to close!

Post secondary Education - I have an office and a window.
The Government of Alberta may or may not take my window and provide plastic wrap instead though.

I have an office, filled with years of files. One day, I will get some lackey to move the files out. For now, it inspires me.
Most days my office is; a clients office, my house (VPN I love you), my car, my apartment in Calgary, an airport...

Oil and Gas- office. But I share it with the most gawd-awful person... I'd almost rather be trapped in a sea of cubicles than be stuck in a room with that one person. She makes me crazy.

Oil & Gas, Manufacturing.
Started in a large dirty room on the 2nd floor that was accessible from the shop, which was split into 3 cubicles. No natural light, no air movement, and in the summer it would be over 30 degrees when I got there at 8:00am. That lasted 2 years.
Then moved into a different building and got a ground floor office w/ door and a large window. That lasted a year.
Now new job starting on tuesday is a large ground floor office split into three cubicles, but at least this time I have a window and air conditioning. Sales environment instead of manufacturing.

When did you get out of the music business? Does your office HR mind your bright red hair?

I once had an office and I hated it. Cubicle ftw, even if your cube mates are noisy and annoying - at least you're interacting with other people.
Right now I mostly work from home, which makes it so I actually look forward to going to a client site and scoping the babes, uh, I mean, talking to people. I have a small home office set up in the spare bedroom and try to confine myself there during times when I am working.

Post office. Desk in the middle of a huge room and surrounded by the 29 people I supervise.
