Thank you. Nothing fancy . . . a Nikon D80.

If you care to look out your windows, there is oodles of new snow carpeting the Rockies to lower elevations this morning.

I think it depends entirely on when you take your holidays. That is the main factor in how I view my summer. I was in BC for a week and it was HOT. I was up in Central Alberta for a week and against it was very nice. The only mitigating factor was the hail that knocked my garden to bits. Most of it recovered but man I'm just glad it wasn't big enough to do anything to my vehicle or to the roof. I'm on holiday this week and went golfing the first couple of days and then got down to doing the projects I have promised to do for a year. They were all inside so the bad weather actually helped me get brownie points from the wife.

IF your vacation goes good so does your summer IMO.

It got down to 6.9 C last night. I love it: hockey season, here we come!

From my point of view, it's been a great summer. I was able to cycle to work virtually all of July with very little rain.

I am still waiting for summer to arrive.

The Okanagan may be smoky, but at least they have an actual summer.
