A weather station is Olds is reporting 202 lightning strikes per minute. edit: 467 per now...it could be reporting wrong, cause that is insane.

Hopefully it stays away from me (I ****ing hate storms).
Any chance it reaches the west side of the city? like near West Hills Shopping centre, I can't really tell by the radar.

The storms have kind of merged and formed a line that if it keeps its current track would most likely hit the entire city.

Just drove through it and beat it home from Red Deer to Calgary. We got about 15 mins ahead, it looks like it's at our door now. I don't like the way my windows are creaking with the wind blowing like that.
The drive was ok, a TON of lightening, lots of rain, big wind, no hail though. It's pissing down here now.
