I am 6'3 so the "beds" are uncomfortable, but I can manage. I almost missed the bloody train too, I got on and it literally pulled away 3 seconds after I stepped on, I was that close!
Trains through Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Amsterdam, were nice though.

I had an experience similar to this as well, but, we all still had a blast. The first time i went to europe with my high school band (

) we took a ferry across the english channel from london to brussels and then took a train from brussels down to vienna and they crammed 6 of us in a room. The beds were brutally uncomfortable and close together.
Instead we found it way more fun to brush our teeth and spit out the window when the train was in motion. The hilarious thing about it was the next day getting off the train and seeing toothpaste strewn across the train and clearly leading into the next persons window...which was open...LOLOL!!!
Then the next time i went to europe we took a train from belfast to dublin. That was pretty cool seeing irelands country side.
I like trains they're fun if you're crossing a beautiful country.
