And I thank him for that, because Green text makes my eyes bleed. In fact I'm thinking of starting up Mr.Coffee's Coalition Against Green Text (MCCAGT). Would you like to be my first member? It's free to enter my group. All you have to do is stop using Green Text on Calgarypuck.

Drive thru etiquette? One time I was short change, and needed a couple more pennies. The floor of my car has pretty nasty pennies and dimes that have fallen out of the change holder, been stepped on and accumulated all kinds of disgusting over the years. Unfortunately for said Timmy's employee, that was all the change I had at the time, and thus they received it.

The face was priceless, when I placed those coins in their hand. I could not contain the laughter and drove off.

I felt kind of bad after, but only for about 30 seconds.

The wendy's near Brentwood Station used to have what must have been the fastest drive through on the planet. We would drive into the drive through line with two cars in front of us that had to order before us, and we still got through the entire line (ordering, paying, and getting food) in about 30 seconds. No Joke. And not just one one occasion, they were always that fast.

I think there must be some competitions of something between the stores. Because some you can tell are just busting their ass to get everything to you. They basically chuck your coffee at you. While it's fast, they usually screw up orders like that. But some stores have obviously just thrown in the towel and said screw it, we'll do this at a City Workers pace. The hard working stores are appreciated.

The only thing I have to add is, once you've ordered, get the eff out of my way. Don't leave 3 car spaces between you and the guy paying. Pull forward, let me order my isht and lets all get on with our days, ok?

As a test, you should go to the Tim's on 130th avenue.. I find them decently quick.

Meanwhile, Macleod Tr by the Toys R Us... wow..... they probably process 2 customers a day.

Anyone remember that facebook group that tim hortons employees started informing people how to properly order? Lol. It was gold.

I know they're trying to be polite, and I do my best to be polite back but holy crap...sometimes I have no idea what a person is saying to me, so I just agree and then get something completely different than what I originally wanted.
My beef isn't with immigrants taking my order at Tim Hortons, but rather with immigrants 'making' my order there. When I go there I like to get the Turkey Bacon Club Sandwich, but the honey mustard sauce they put on it tastes like a$$. So I ask for it without it. No problem the person takes my order and repeats 'no sauce.' When they enter it into the computer that way a flashy instruction pops up on the screen in front of the sandwich maker with the instructions. Now if it were anyone but an old asian lady making the sandwich there shouldn't be a problem reading the flashing bold letters that says 'NO SAUCE' and proceeding to not put sauce on my sandwich. But alas it always seems to be someone who can't read working the sandwich post. When I order inside the store I've witnessed them in front of me try to read the directions, fail, and then whip out the sauce, at which point I stop them.

At the drive thru they are hidden from my view so almost everytime I have to open my sandwich before pulling away from the drive thru to discover honey mustard on my sandwich and then I make them make it again. Their profit margin on me must be negative and the customers behind me pissed for taking so long.
